Add a password prompt for cash sales

Important: This applies only if you're enrolled in the Consumer Choice program.

 

You can use the Roc Terminal+ web portal to configure a device to prompt for a password when you run a cash sale. 

  1. Log in to https://terminalplus.rocpos.com/login.
  2. On the side menu, select Device Management.
  3. (Optional) Search for your device using one of the following criteria:
    • Endpoint identifier (EPI) of your device
    • Serial number of your device
    • Model number of your device
    • Doing Business As (DBA) name associated with your device
  4. Select the EPI of the device.
  5. Select EDIT PARAMETERS.
  6. Select the Home Screen tab.
  7. Turn on Password for Cash.
  8. Download the updates to your payment device. For more information about how to download the updates, go to Download a parameter update to a device.
