Use the Self-Care Portal to create a predefined tip that customers can select and apply to transactions on the Virtual Terminal, Payroc App, and Hosted Payment Pages.

You can set up only one predefined tip on the Self-Care Portal. At checkout, customers can choose to apply the predefined tip or to provide a custom tip amount.

To create a predefined tip, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to https://payments.payroc.com/merchant/selfcare/.
2. From the navigation menu, select Settings, and then select Terminal.
3. In the Terminal Tips section, select ADD NEW TIP.
4. Enter a percentage for the tip.
5. Select UPDATE SETTINGS.

After you create a predefined tip, we automatically apply the changes to your transactions on the Virtual Terminal and Hosted Payment Pages. If you use the Payroc App to run transactions, restart the app to apply the changes.
