Use the Self-Care Portal to create taxes that apply to transactions on the Virtual Terminal and the Payroc App.

If you create more than one tax:

• For Virtual Terminal transactions, you can choose which tax to apply. For more information about how to add a tax, go to Add a tax to a Virtual Terminal transaction.
• For Payroc App transactions, the app automatically applies the lowest tax amount.

To create a tax, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to https://payments.payroc.com/merchant/selfcare/.
2. From the navigation menu, select Settings, and then select Terminal.
3. From the Terminal Taxes section, select Add New Tax.
4. Enter a Name for the tax.
5. Enter the Percentage of the tax.
   Note: The value must be greater than 0.0 and less than 99.99999.
6. Select Update Settings.

Note: To update the Payroc App with the tax you created, restart the app.
