If the business information on your Payroc account doesn't match the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) records, this can trigger backup withholding. To stop backup withholding, update your business information with the IRS.

To update your business information with the IRS, complete the following steps:

1. Download Form W-9 from the IRS website.
2. Complete the form.
3. Email the completed form to cs@payroc.com. In the email, include the following information:
   • Your merchant ID
   • Your business name
   • Your reason for the request
