This article explains how to read your statement, which contains details about your transactions and the fees associated with processing transactions with us. For an overview about the types of fees in your statement, go to Fees in your statement.
We produce two different statements, and the statement that you receive depends on your pricing structure. You receive Statement A if you’re on one of the following pricing structures:
- Interchange +
- Tiered Pricing
- Flat Rate
- RewardPay Choice
- Consumer Choice
- Cash Rewards
Statement A has our address at the top-right corner of the front page of the statement, for example:

Statement structure
The statement contains the following sections:
- Overview – Merchant account information, the statement period, and a summary of processing fees and sales.
- Monthly Charges Summary – Processing fees split by card type.
- Processing Volume by Card Brand – Sales and returns split by card type.
- Immediate Attention Required – Important updates from us and third-party services.
- Summary – Total number and amount of sales and returns split by card type.
- Merchant Activity – Daily batches and any deductions.
- Interchange Plus Summary – Interchange fees and card association fees split by card brand.
- Monthly Recap – Miscellaneous fees and fees for credit transactions and signature debit transactions.
- Merchant Fee Recap – Fees for PIN debit transactions.
- Statement Summary – Total fees for processing card transactions.
Overview
The Overview contains your merchant account information, the statement period, and a summary of your processing fees and sales.

The Overview includes the following information:

| 4 | Total sales for the current month, for example, if your statement is for April 2026, this value shows your total sales for April 2026. |

| 6 | Total sales for the same month in the previous year, for example, if your statement is for April 2026, this value shows your total sales for April 2025. |
Monthly Charges Summary
The Monthly Charges Summary is your processing fees displayed as amounts, percentages, and in a pie chart format.

The Monthly Charges Summary contains the following types of fees:
- Card Brand Fees – Interchange fees and card association fees split by card brand. The fees include credit transactions and signature debit transactions.
- Debit Fees – Interchange fees and card association fees for PIN debit transactions.
- Payroc & Third Party Service Fees – Payroc fees and miscellaneous fees.
Processing Volume by Card Brand
The Processing Volume by Card Brand is your sales and returns split by card type.

The Processing Volume by Card Brand includes the following information:
- # Sales – Number of sales split by card type.
- # Returns – Number of returns split by card type.
- Credit Sales – Amount of sales split by card type.
- Returns – Amount of returns split by card type.
- Net Credit Sales – Total amount of Credit Sales minus Returns.
Immediate Attention Required
Note: This section appears more than once in your statement.
The Immediate Attention Required contains important updates from us and third-party services.

Examples of updates you receive in your statement include:
- Pricing changes
- Marketing content
- Insights reminders
- Tax reminders on 1099-K
Summary
The Summary is your sales and returns split by card type.

The Summary includes the following information:
- # of Items – Number of sales and returns split by card type.
- Credit Sales – Number of sales and amount of sales split by card type.
- Returns – Number of returns and amount of returns split by card type.
- Net – Total amount of Credit Sales minus Returns.
Merchant Activity
The Merchant Activity is your daily batches and any deductions.

The Merchant Activity includes the following information:

| Debit Sales | Amount of PIN debit sales. |
| Returns | Amount of returns. |
| Holds & Releases | Amount that we withheld for suspicious transactions. We investigate these transactions and temporarily withhold them from your daily sales. |
| Paid by 3rd Party | Amount from the American Express (Amex) Electronic Statement Account (ESA) program. If you’ve signed up for this direct processing program, Amex processes your transactions and sends the funds to your Amex account. |
| Holdback |
Amount that we withheld for the following reasons: · You have a loan to repay from a cash advance company.

| Misc Adjustments | Any miscellaneous fees, for example, chargebacks and equipment purchases. |
| Fees Paid | Amount of fees you’ve paid throughout the statement month if you’ve signed up for Daily Billing. If you didn’t sign up for Daily Billing, this column displays a value of zero. |
| Net Deposit | Amount that we send to your bank account. |
Interchange Plus Summary
Note: This section appears only if you’re on the Interchange + pricing structure, or if you’re on the RewardPay Choice pricing structure with debit and prepaid transactions on the Interchange + pricing structure.
The Interchange Plus Summary is your interchange fees and card association fees split by card brand.

The Interchange Plus Summary includes the following information:

| Volume | Transaction amount that the fee applies to. |
| Int Rate + | Rate of the interchange fee, for example, a rate of 0.0160 + 0.10 means a rate of 0.0160 plus a fixed fee of $0.10 for each transaction. |
| Fee | Amount that you pay for the fee. |
| Subtotals | Total amount of fees you pay to the card brand. |
Monthly Recap
The Monthly Recap includes information about the following fees:
- Card association fees for credit transactions and signature debit transactions
- Payroc fees for credit transactions and signature debit transactions
- Miscellaneous fees
- RewardPay Choice fees
- Consumer Choice fees
- Cash Rewards fees

The Monthly Recap includes the following information:

| Total Merchant Processing Fees | Amount of fees we deducted from your bank account for credit transactions and signature debit transactions. This is Total Fees minus Less Daily Fees. |
Merchant Fee Recap
Note: This section appears only if you have PIN debit transactions.
The Merchant Fee Recap is your fees for PIN debit transactions.

The Merchant Fee Recap includes the following information:

| Trans Fee | Fixed fee that you pay for each transaction. |
| Trans Fee Total | Amount of transaction fees. This is # of Trans multiplied by Trans Fee. |
| Network Fees | Fee from the card brand to use their PIN Debit network. |
| Cash Back Transactions | Amount that you gave to customers as cashback. |
| Cash Back Fees | Amount of fees for cashback transactions. |
| Total | Amount that you pay for the fee. |
| Total Fees | Amount of fees for PIN debit transactions. This is Debit Fees minus Less Daily Fees. |
| Total Debit Processing Fees | Amount of fees we deducted from your bank account for PIN debit transactions. This is Total Fees minus any applicable fees. |
Statement Summary
The Statement Summary is the total amount that we took from your bank account or sent to your bank account.

Note: If we can’t take the balance from your bank account, our Collections Team will contact you by email to settle the payment.
